Expressing your ideas, learning and who you are in the 21st Century looks very different to traditional schooling. At Green Island School students have multiple ways to express themselves, develop and refine their communication skills and express their creative energy.

Information Communication Technologies

The school is well resourced and students access many devices throughout the curriculum to enhance and share their learning. There are interactive whiteboards throughout the school and computers in every classroom. Netbooks and iPads are used throughout the school as are digital cameras and other equipment. We also have a Robocup team.

Performance

The school presents a whole school production every second year and children have the option to participate in a ‘Stars on Stage’ performance in alternate years.

The school has a choir, ukulele group and a student initiated Rock Band.
